A 28-year-old man was arrested after performing a dangerous burnout, nearly striking officers and pedestrians. Captured on CCTV, the silver pickup truck revs its engine and skids across the intersection, sending pedestrians scattering and forcing officers to jump out of the way. The driver later admitted he was trying to “impress girls.” He faces multiple charges, including DUI, reckless driving, and three counts of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon. Additionally, he may face charges for damaging the decorative crosswalk.
