Police grappler rips off car during chase

Police officers used a grappler device to stop a stolen vehicle during a pursuit on a freeway. The driver tried to escape by reversing and accelerating, but the device held firm, ripping off the rear axle and disabling the car. Three people were arrested, and no injuries were reported.
